Remember Meagan, swapper extraordinaire? She's been busy on Swapsity, trading her way to some great stuff. Just recently, she bartered jewellery for basket weaving lessons and beading supplies for a DVD set, a tomato planter and a moleskin notebook. Her Swapsity activity also led to an offsite exchange of English-Spanish language lessons. Meagan has even turned her tarot reading skills into currency.

She says, "I've offered tarot readings for yoga and meditation, home-cooked meals, fitness classes and other readings. I'm always up for trying new things!"

With several successful swaps under her belt, she knows the benefits of barter and didn't hesitate to be the first to give Swapsity's brand new auction feature a try. So Meagan put her tarot reading skills up for auction. To her delight, she received plenty of amazing barter bids, such as Reiki healing, art, design consultation, guitar or drawing lessons, stock trading lessons and numerology readings.

"I really enjoy the auction system! It was fun to see all the things people were offering. It introduced me to new bartering options that I hadn't considered before," says Meagan.

In the end, she chose guitar lessons from non-member Audrey, who had heard about the new auction feature from a friend and decided to check out Swapsity for the first time. Her bid of guitar lessons caught Meagan's attention and the auction didn't disappoint.

"I thoroughly enjoyed the swap Meagan and I did. The tarot readings she did were uncanny in their accuracy of content in my life," says Audrey.

According to Meagan, a large part of tarot reading is listening to your instincts and helping others listen to their own.

"It's more helping people make decisions that are right for them than it is 'telling the future'. I find a good reading always makes people feel good about where they are and where they're headed," she says.

The auction opened up new bartering options for a seasoned swapper while introducing a non-member up to the world of trade and Audrey says it's likely the two will get together again.
