Got something to swap? Love making videos? Why not put the two together for a chance to win a $100 gift card of your choice! Take a look at “The Barter Boys Episode 1: U of T” video created by our awesome volunteers, Bernie and Rishay. Bernie, Rishay and their friend Steve roamed the halls of University of Toronto residence, picking the brains of students to see what they would trade for a laptop and a backpack. Watch and see what happens!

Now it’s your turn to get creative. Grab a friend and film yourselves taking a swappable item or skill door-to-door in your neighbourhood, dorm, workplace, bar, Yonge-Dundas Square or anywhere else and see what people are willing to offer you for it. Find something to trade, from an iPod or an unused Christmas present to DVDs or dance lessons, and start negotiating! Keep in mind, you don’t actually have to swap the item. Share your videos with Swapsity by emailing us at contest@swapsity.ca. The most unique entry will be crowned the winner.
