Recently a friend told me a story. His friends kenneled their
dog during a vacation. The dog wouldn't or couldn't eat for most of
the vacation and the owners came home to a dog on his deathbed. As
many of you know I had a cat for 19 years (her sister for 12) and I
have noticed that pets can become very agitated and depressed when
their owners go away. Placing them outside of the home increases
this kind of agitation and can cause major problems.
