Seven years ago I was dealing with an out-of-control eczema breakout and becoming more aware of the toxins in cosmetic products that we put on our skin everyday, so I started to make my own products using simple, whole ingredients. I wanted something that was good for my skin, supported environmental health, and contained a short list of unprocessed ingredients that I could understand. Once I started perfecting and sharing my products with friends, I was urged to share my craft- so here it is!

My ingredients:
The coconut oil I use is organic, cold pressed, virgin coconut oil.
The cocoa and shea butters are from fairly traded sources using ethical brokers. Environmentally friendly production methods are utilized, a minimum price is paid to producers, and forced labour is not used. The cocoa butter is wildcrafted and processed in Peru. The shea butter is made by a women’s cooperative in Ghana and certified by the Shea Butter Alliance. It is natural, unrefined, not bleached.
I only use 100% essential oils to scent my products. I never use fragrance oils as they often contain synthetic ingredients.
My beeswax is always from an Ontario source who uses organic farming practices
