Come meet new friends and collaborate during Holistic Sundays this fall. We will be producing and marketing an oracle. It will be similar to the Tarot and based on the periodic table in chemistry.
Have you ever wondered if, and why Tarot cards and other methods of prediction work at all? Have curious enthusiasts used ‘quantum thinking’ about our changing circumstances to boldly go where science has yet to go?
We’ll look at these questions and see why decks based on the ‘musically recurring’ characteristics in the periodic table promise to give more realistic insights and practical understanding than other means of gaining insight to date.
What we'll research
We'll take an holistic view of the world. A glorious blend awaits, consisting of chemistry, alchemy, psychology, quantum physics, spirituality and forms of indigenous knowledge. We'll spice up the brew with sacred geometry and tips on temple design.
We'll explore our personal values and passions by making pictures of the ceremonial adornments we'd love to have - clothes, sculptural accessories, jewelry, (and did I mention kites?), and engage in the fine arts of the holistic persuasion.
Where we are going with this
The oracle will suggest outcomes that exceed the limits of what was achievable, in practical terms, with logic. Be amazed by what love and holistic thinking can do.
Early versions of the periodic table allowed chemists to successfully foretell the properties of elements before the elements were discovered.*
Based on holistic methods proven to work in scientific discovery our new oracles promise to revitalize our ways of thinking and learning to strengthen a mood of possibility and hope in Toronto.
* One example of accurate prediction is Dmitri Mendeleev's use of his periodic table in 1869 to predict the existence and some of the properties of what was later called Germanium. Clemens Winkler first discovered the element nearly two decades later.
